Embarking on a road trip is like stepping into a thrilling adventure movie, complete with unexpected twists, breathtaking scenery, and of course, a trusty set of sidekicks. For road trip enthusiasts, decking out your vehicle with the coolest and most practical accessories is part of the fun. So, gear up with some of my favorite accessories and get ready to hit the road with these cool yet essential car accessories, perfect for exploration of remote roads.
1. Gooloo GP4000 Car Battery Jump Starter: The Lifesaver
Picture this: You're in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by stunning landscapes, when suddenly, your car battery decides to take an unplanned siesta. I've been using the Gooloo GP4000 because there may not always be someone that can come around in a timely manner. Compact yet powerful, this jump starter will have you back on the road. Easy to use too. Gooloo claims it will jump start up to a 10L gas or diesel engine and gives a 4000 A peak current, which is pretty strong.
2. Mabett LED Grille Lights: Illuminate Your Path
As the sun sets and darkness creeps in, I like to add the cool factor of the Mabett LED Grille Lights. The amber colored lights can be seen easier in fog or snow, so it does offer that bit of a safety feature, but more importantly, it just looks cool!

3. Black Diamond Moji R+and the Sunrei C1600 Rechargeable lights
When darkness sets in, the interior lights in the rear cargo area are just not bright enough to look for things at night, especially with a rack inside. My favorite lights are the Black Diamond Moji R+ and the Sunrei C1600. They are both rechargeable, magnetic and compact. They illuminate the rear cargo area really well. Plus, their compact size makes it easy to carry and move around. You can also hang it with a clip that is included on each. I stick the Black Diamond under the interior cargo rack so I can see below it well and the Sunrei above the rack. I like the Sunrei best because it has four brightness settings up to 1500 lumen and can also change the color warmth on it. It is bright enough to use as a flashlight on a night hike.

4. Mabett Rear Seat Back Cover Backrest Protector: Keep It Clean
Road trips can get messy. From dirty boots to snack crumbs to muddy dog paws, your rear seat backrest can take a beating and get damaged. For the money and looks, the Mabett Rear Seat Back Cover Backrest Protector is my choice. Really protects well against damage to the back of my passenger row of seats. So far I am very pleased with it. My dog walks all over it and I also typically keep lots of gear on it and it is holding up well.
5. REFORM DESIGN Aluminum Grab Handles: Hold On Tight
Getting in and out of the Bronco can be a bit of a workout, especially after a long day of driving. The Reform Design Aluminum Grab Handles come in handy. I don't find I need grab handles to get in, but I do see many of my "vertically-challenged" passengers use them to get in. These sturdy handles provide a secure grip, making entering and exiting your vehicle easier. I don't like the paracord type of handles as much, they don't give passengers the sturdiness that helps them hold on during a bumpy ride. And it does add a rugged flair to the Bronco's interior. :) https://amzn.to/44IHkL5
6. Broaddict Rear Door Tailgate Table: Dine in Style
Who says you can't dine in style on the road? My choice is the Broaddict Rear Door Tailgate Table. The price for what you get is very reasonable. Most tailgate tables are much more expensive and I additionally prefer this design best. You get an extra table panel that you can unfold from below to give you plenty of space and transforms your rear door into a convenient dining preparation area. Most tailgate tables do not give you this much work area. It also has gone through some rough washboard roads and has really held up well. Furthermore, it was even easy for someone like me who struggles with tools to install this. Whether you're picnicking in the mountains or beach-side dining, this table is a must for road trip dining.

For the Jeep I highly recommend the Rock Slide Engineering Tailgate Table. I had this on my Jeep and it was well built and did not rattle. Also has the extra panel to add more work space.

The other tailgate table I recommend is the Hooke Road 2-Tier Jeep JK or JL Wrangler Tailgate Table Foldable. I have not owned this table, but the reviews are very good and I am always happy with the value I get from the Hooke Road products I've owned. Last time I checked it was just $159.99 on Amazon, can't beat it.
